Changes on the bike courses at the Carglass® Cologne Triathlon Weekend

Due to several construction sites we had to make changes on the bike courses at all distances:

CologneSmart / CologneOlympic

Unfortunately, the original turning point at the intersection of Industriestraße/Merianstraße has to be postponed due to a construction site.  Thus the Industriestraße is not driven to the intersection, but it is already turned about 500 metres before. Therefore the route for the CologneSmart be shortened to 24km and the CologneOlympic to 36km.

Cologne226 / Cologne226 half / Hawaii-Special

Here arise two changes on the bike course due to a construction site:

Originally the Blumensbergweg should be further driven on the Mennweg to then go back to the Alte Römerstraße. Now it must be previously bend left to the Neusser Landstraße, than to the Alte Neusser Landstraße, back to the Alte Römerstraße.

Cologne226 half

The turning point at the Bremerhavener Straße is also moved forward in direction to the city. The new turning point is just before the intersection of Industriestraße/Amsterdamerstraße/Boltensternstraße. The course of the Cologne226 half will still be 90km.

Cologne226 / Hawaii-Special

But we're sorry that we can't maintain the old course of 180km at the Cologne226 / Hawaii-Special. Now the athletes have to absolve a course of 184km.

The revised plans can be found here:
