The Africa Tikkun Team at the CCTW 2016

Sports, fun and a good cause will be again in focus of the Carglass® Cologne Triathlon Weekend 2016. At Carglass® Cologne Triathlon Weekend, being supported by main sponsor Carglass® since four years now, about 4.000 athletes compete in swimming, cycling and running.

As every year, the VGRR specialist is involved in the triathlon weekend with more than 100 Carglass® triathletes, volunteers and partners. Similarly, for the third consecutive year, African athletes ​​are part of the team as ambassadors of the initiative "Afrika Tikkun":

Four ambitious and athletic talented young people, two girls and boys from South Africa, participate in the competition for the good cause.

Since the main sponsor uses the sports event to also engage socially, all donations will be passed on to the Carglass® foundation "Giving Back".

One of the main auxiliary projects of the foundation is to support the organization "Afrika Tikkun" with educational projects as well as health initiatives, in order to help young South African people to help themselves.
