We are so glad the Cologne Triathlon Weekend can also perform charitable work. 

In this regard we are very pleased to introduce Carglass® as our new premium sponsor of this year's  Cologne Triathlon Weekend. Carglass® would like to ask all participating athletes for their assistance in the Giving Back Project. For the first time this year the around 5.000 participants can make donations to the Giving Back Foundation by running over a special donation mat. The collected money will be used to support the Giving Back Foundation and their projects. So sporting and social commitment go hand in hand with the  Cologne Triathlon Weekend. Here you can find detailed and helpful information about the Carglass® Giving Back initative, which we strongly recomment you.

As part of the  Cologne Triathlon Weekend we have already supported various charitable projects.

In addition to financial benefits arising from the  Cologne Triathlon Weekend we have made donations that can be used to help others. After some years we have been accumulating residual stock of finisher shirts. We have refused to sell these shirts in the past to "non-finishers" or even as a substitute for finishers. Consequently this will be the path we are treading in future, because we believe that only finishers may wear finisher shirts.

So we decided to donate leftover clothing to people in need. We have served as well european as overseas projects which mainly support children.
On the other hand a major event like the  CTW also generates food residues (bananas, melons, carrots etc.) which we are passing on to The Cologne's Board.
