Cologne Triathlon Weekend (CTW) is hold in Germany’s most TRI-populated land Northrhine-Westphalia and is No 1 triathlon in participant numbers there. On the first weekend in September, lake Fühlinger See and the city centre of Cologne are reserved for triathletes: It’s triathlon time, it’s Cologne Triathlon Weekend. The event is still young in years, but its finish line in Cologne city centre, among other things, has attracted more and more athletes from year to year and is well on its way to becoming an established triathlon and multisports event of regional and international standing thanks to its participant structure.
